"What you need to check are:
1. Make sure the IP address in our database is correct. You can't connect with your hostname until you can connect using your external IP first.
2. Check that no firewall is blocking access
3. If you have a router, make sure this is configured to forward
the necessary ports to your computer

4. If your ISP has begun blocking port 80 and you want to run a web
server (or some video cameras and other devices that use that port)
you'll need to use our WebHop service to work around this:

Quackster, I know a while back, AT&T was changed my IP address and I had to go update it with my ddns service. That may be the issue. How do you have your router set up, is it using an at&t modem?
ReplyDeleteHey James, I do have ATT. I have run several checks on my system including canyouseeme and it appears to be open and looking in. So would my router still be an issue if a diagnostic recognized my server? Anyways how did you update with ddns, is that the dydns updater?
